Ron Glass and Donald Ricketts Scholarships

The Evansville African-American Museum is proud to present our 2018 Ron Glass and Donald Ricketts Scholarships. Students can download or pickup scholarship applications at the museum, as well as ask any questions regarding the scholarships. Please contact us at 812-423-5188 for any questions and drop by the museum, 579 S. Garvin St. to pick up applications! If you have missed the deadline for the current year, start now to prepare for next year.

Ron Glass Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded to a graduating African-American high school student who lives in the Tri-State and plans to attend the University of Evansville or a current African-American University student to assist with college education expenses. Student must demonstrate commitment to the concepts of public service, social justice and global consciousness. For the application and more information, click here.

Donald Ricketts Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded to an African-American student who lives in Vanderburgh County, to assist with college education expenses.  The scholarship is open to students pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM). For the application and more information, click here.
